It’s official: these are desperate times. And desperate times call for good music! 

The Lonely Heartstring Band’s work stands alone as a pillar of what can be accomplished with traditional stringband instrumentation. Yes, they were birthed from the traditions of mountain music, but their innovative songwriting and arrangements combined with virtuosic technical abilities have made them a modern supergroup. The Other Side, the band’s 2018 single, turned out to be a song just two years before its time. “There’s nothing left to do but try to be strong / When the dome of heaven starts to fall”, sings George Clements, the band’s lead singer. Take it however you like, but the Lonely Heartstring Band hasn’t been wrong so far.
