It was all You.
Read part one by Sam Heyl here.
There’s a whistling in the woods,
And a buzzing in your shoes.
A spirit that you never lose,
Would you do it if you could?
Doesn’t matter if you should,
Or if others would refuse.
‘Cause there’s a whistling in the woods,
And a buzzing in Your shoes.
Rivers dancing where you stood,
Heart of rhythm and of blues,
Confidence without a clue.
You are the whistling in the woods
And the buzzing in your shoes.
The cosmos glittering in your eyes
Made you seem to be a star,
Twinkling brightly from afar.
The fabric of your sunny skies
Makes the clock face tick clockwise.
While your nebulas are quite bizarre,
The cosmos glittering in your eyes,
Made you seem to be a star.
Saturn’s rings are your disguise,
Your song sweet like a soft guitar,
Melodic strings pluck from afar,
An angel’s song with no reprise.
The cosmos glittered in your eyes.
You stood tall, for the world was yours.
The universe within your reach,
Nature didn’t take its course
For the Mother knew the score.
Her children’s path she would not breach
So you stood tall, for the world was yours.
A drizzle became a downpour,
Your power filling every niche,
And Nature didn’t take its course.
And all those near you knew the score
A lesson you never had to teach
“Listen to me.” Your only speech.
And you stood tall, for the world was yours.
A standing ovation rumbled the floors.
The crowd, they begged for an encore,
A roaring brought by your outreach
And Nature never took its course.
You are one to be adored.
Strong as steel, but soft as peach,
You stood tall, for the world was yours,
And Nature alters its own course,
And it was all You.
