Free Weekly COVID Testing at Enloe
Enloe and WCPSS are offering weekly voluntary COVID testing for students, provided by MAKO Medical. Enloe students can receive a pooled PCR test every Thursday in the media center during both first and second lunch. The program is completely free, however, all students under 18 must be registered by a parent or guardian.
Where can I register for a COVID test?

If you are under 18, this information must be provided by a parent or guardian.
How does the testing work?
The tests are nasal swabs administered by MAKO Medical staff and are “pooled” in groups of 2-6 students to get faster results. If the student’s “pool” tests positive, they are contacted by MAKO Medical with instructions for retesting. Students will return to school along with everyone else in the “pool” to identify who is positive after isolated tests. Because of this, an initial positive test might not mean that you have COVID.
It is “strongly recommended” by the Wake County Public School System that families take advantage of this free testing opportunity: “Participation helps safeguard the wellbeing of the entire school community and gives you information to help you keep your children healthy.”For more information about how you can help prevent the spread of COVID-19, visit https://makostrongschoolsnc.com/
