Choyce Forte: a force to be reckoned with. Being a senior at Enloe, Choyce is making her mark and leaving a legacy, whether that’s being a role model in the dance department and the track team, or with her leadership as one of the heads of the Enloe’s new Fashion Club.

Choyce is the co-founder and co-president of the new Enloe Enstyle Fashion Club with Rachel William, “shout out to Rach.” They made their idea of an all inclusive fashion club come to life. They built it “around the idea of how other people can share their experiences and want to be involved in fashion life.” Their purpose is to celebrate and learn about the unlimited art that is fashion. Keep an eye out for announcements on their instagram (@enstyle_fidm) about meetings and information about the fashion show they’ll be having towards the end of the year.

Outside of starting an all-inclusive club, Choyce Forte has run track for the past three years. She enjoys being on the track team because she’s pushed to reach her potential and is “surrounded by others that you hit milestones and make memories with.” Another extracurricular on her extensive resume is dance. She has been part of the Enloe Dance Department for all four years: First in modern, then transitioning to jazz as a part of the first honors level jazz class. “I like that we have more honors classes now and that I’m able to have that honors level achievement.” In addition to being in jazz, she performed in the hip hop opening from last year’s spring showcase and the pep rally performance earlier this year. She will also be in the upcoming winter concert with jazz. Make sure to support Choyce and the Enloe Dance Department on December first and second.

The hardworking person she is, Choyce consciously makes moves towards her career. She is applying to East Carolina, Western Carolina, Spelman, UNC Charlotte, and UNC Pembroke as she plans on majoring in either pre-dental and biology, biology, or chemistry. Her dream career is to model because “you’re wearing wear-able art.” Choyce is currently training with Alva Page, a well known modeling coach, in preparation for modeling in Pink Holiday Fashion Frenzy, a production for breast cancer awareness, taking place on December fourth.

Overall, Choyce is a really cool person with such an amazing and hilarious personality. She’s passionate, determined, and hard-working. Whether she follows her pre-dental path, decides to model full time, or do both, she will thrive and succeed wherever she goes in life because that’s the kind of person she is. Everyone should have a Choyce in their lives.
