Enloe Choir Marks Carnegie Hall Off Its List

Enloe Choir Marks Carnegie Hall Off Its List

Tituss Burgess, Jeremy Jordan, and now our very own school choir. This year, Enloe’s Chamber choir and Advanced Treble Ensemble are taking a trip to New York City to compete at the famous Carnegie Hall at the national level. Working with Mr. Wilson’s music theory students, they spent the end of last year recording their audition recording to send in. Out of candidates all over the country, our choir was chosen to move on.

Enloe entered the competition to expand their horizons or to challenge themselves and they hope to go far in the event. Mrs. Hallihan, Enloe’s chorus teacher put it as “I don’t like us to do competitions unless we’re competing against ourselves.” This, in addition to the Music Performance Adjudication and The Nutcracker Suite, means the choral department has a lot to keep them busy. This trip being completely optional is bound to bring us a well-put-together team representing Enloe as a reputable school for the arts as well as science. Our best luck to the Eagles!
