Harry Style’s newest album Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally came out officially on March 6 after the album’s leading single “Aperture” was released on Jan. 23 earlier this year. The single marked Style’s first new music since his previous album, Harry’s House, which was released back in May of 2022. Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally, is a fun, upbeat, and overall dance pop album including 12 catchy songs that are sure to get you off your feet. What has surprised many fans however, is Styles’ particular blend of previously untouched melodies and instrumentals as he encapsulates a long-lasting experience of pop music through each track. The Eagle’s Eye is here to share our review of this long awaited album!
Track 1: “Aperture”
“Aperture” is a fun, upbeat, and catchy dance song released as Style’s first single, and perfectly encapsulates the vibe the album is going for! We encourage you to listen if you haven’t already.
Best Lyric: “I won’t stray from it, I don’t know these spaces. Time won’t wait on me, I wanna know what is safe.”

Track 2: “American Girls”
“American Girls” is a unique song with a strong piano background and a heartfelt melody. The song gives a nostalgic vibe paired with lyrics resembling many of Style’s older songs. The Eagle’s Eye rates this our personal favorite from the album.
Best Lyric: “I’ve known you for ages, it’s all that I’ve heard, my friends are in love with American girls.”

Track 3: “Ready, Steady, Go!”
“Ready, Steady, Go!” is a funky and fast paced song incorporating elements of electro/dancepop, a fire beat drop, and a strong basis of electric guitar.
Best Lyric: “One time in the light, it’s two times as fun already. One, two, three times you’re only playing with me, ready, steady, go!”

Track 4: “Are You Listening Yet?”
“Are You Listening Yet?” has a new and unique vibe from the rest of the songs on the album. Its melody is groovy with a strong drum beat. The song incorporates many fast paced lyrics that build a narrative many listeners have come to adore.
Best Lyric: “Now you’re all out of choices, are you listening yet? Between your head and heart and somewhere else instead.”

Track 5: “Taste Back”
“Taste Back” is a fun and catchy song with an electropop vibe during the introduction. The chorus is full of life and it’s a great listen for a summer day, especially if you’re looking for a happier song!
Best Lyric: “Must be lonely out in Paris if you talk like that, it was tough with the time but you called me back.”

Track 6: “The Waiting Game”
“The Waiting Game” starts out with a funky backtrack that continues beautifully into the sweet lyrics throughout the song. It has a sad and romantic vibe that contrasts with the upbeat instrumental.
Best Lyric: “Write a ballad with the details, while skimming off the top, a personality, considering you’ve been a little overhonest lately.”

Track 7: “Season 2 Weight Loss”
“Season 2 Weight Loss” starts off with a rock band beat with steady drums and electric guitars. Styles uses a lot of autotune for most of the lyrics, and implements a catchy tune that will get stuck in your head.
Best Lyric: “You’ve sit yourself down sometimes. Holding, holding out, hope you will love me now.”

Track 8: “Coming Up Roses”
“Coming Up Roses” starts off slower than other tracks on the album and it brings a nostalgic energy as it resembles many of Style’s older songs. While the song gives off a vibe of a sad romance, it still creates a great listen for those who are into it.
Best Lyric: “Everything seems to be coming up roses, but I’m scared if we’re both right. Does that mean we’re not aligned?”

Track 9: “Pop”
On the first listen, “Pop” is certainly not what one may expect from the title, but the track is great listen regardless! From its strong drum baseline, to a perfectly anticipated beat drop, “Pop” creates a fun collection of melodies that perfectly matches the vibe of the album Style’s seems to be going for.
Best Lyric: “Am I in over my head? This could go anywhere, I do it and do it again, it’s meant to be pop.”

Track 10: “Dance No More”
“Dance No More” is a fun and upbeat track with a great beat to dance and move to. It’s a groovy song with backing vocals and a style resembling something like a Micheal Jackson song. This song is perfect for dancing in a club, at a party or simply just a late night out.
Best Lyric: “It’s feeling like the music has been heaven sent.”

Track 11: “Paint By Numbers”
“Paint By Numbers” is a soft and heartfelt song that differs from the rest of the album’s dance vibe. The song starts off with a slow guitar and has a calming acoustic sound to it. It’s cute, with many heartfelt lyrics and great for singing along to.
Best Lyric: “It’s a lifetime of learning to paint by numbers and watching the colours run.”

Track 12: “Carla’s Song”
Carla’s song is a great closing to the album! From its incorporation of a unique mix of instruments, to its strong base of electric keyboard, it is a beautiful song that is sure to be a quick addition to your playlist! Although the song is on the slower side, it creates a strong melody that builds and sticks with you, perfectly encapsulating the vibe of the album as a whole.
Best Lyric: “Saw the light in the gold that you discovered, through your eyes in awe, melodies like the tide, it’s all waiting there for you.”

Overall, the Enloe Eagle’s Eye rates Harry Style’s newest album Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally an 8/10. Not only does the album include a wide variety of songs with new styles, (seemingly untouched by Styles before) but for all of his longstanding fans, the album incorporates many tracks that are similar to some of his older music. Through his music, new and old, Styles ultimately provides audiences with many timeless pieces of pop history.
