If you loved Volleybros, want to get into the sport, or are just looking for a way to play volleyball and meet new people, there’s good news for you: Enloe is starting a men’s club volleyball team this year! Since men’s volleyball isn’t an officially sanctioned sport by the North Carolina High School Athletic Association (NCHSAA), the team will operate as a club team. Club sports are most commonly seen in college and act similarly to traditional sports teams.
The team interest meeting is on Wednesday, January 31st at 2:30 p.m. in room 1924. The season will start with tryouts in late February, and the first game will be on March 8th. Practices will be twice a week, with games every Friday and a tournament at the end of the season. A small fee and eligibility waivers will be required to join the team. Whether you plan to be a player or spectator, be sure to support Enloe’s newest sports team!
