Following another successful season, students and fans alike couldn’t be more excited for the 2023-2024 basketball season to kick off. Today, November 17th, the Enloe men’s basketball team will face off against South Garner at the Nest.

The theme for tonight’s game is white-out, and all Enloe supporters are encouraged to put on their best all-white fits. Emanuel “Poobie” Chapman, the head men’s basketball coach, emphasizes the importance of the fans at games: “We need our fans to be loud and in the game! I literally want our crowd to be the sixth man”.

Coach Chapman is entering his sixth season as the mens’ head coach. When asked about the importance of this season, he had a simple answer, “This season is important simply because it’s now. [There’s] no time like the present.”
