This Tuesday, February 6, Enloe’s junior varsity women’s basketball team won their home game against Sanderson High 31-28. This marks the first win for the teams in 2 seasons.
This is our junior varsity women’s basketball team’s first year back alongside the varsity team. The season has been a rigorous one for the JV players, and the team has been working hard at getting better and stronger. Their growing skills culminated in their game against the Sanderson JV team in their last home game of the season.
The game started strong with an early lead for our Eagles. As the game progressed we continued to hold the lead. The captains credit the win to staying aggressive, a skill they hope to keep up throughout the rest of the season. The team is proud and excited about the win and is looking forward to the rest of the season.
