Naeema spoke about her work to hold the hog industry accountable for the pollution it produces that disproportionately impacts the lives of African Americans living in rural North Carolina counties.

ECLA hosts their largest-ever event, featuring guest speaker Naeema Muhammad. She is the Organizing Co-Director of the North Carolina Environmental Justice Network. This organization works to promote equality in unique ways, including access to human and natural resources, clean industries, and safe workplaces for all people of North Carolina.
