Owen is a junior and staff writer for the Eagle’s Eye. He loves to write about important political issues as well as culture like new music and interesting places for people to check out. Owen spends his free time playing music, running a Sunrise Movement hub, and riding his bike around Raleigh. Inspiration for Owen’s journalism comes from reading outlets like VOX, NPR, The Guardian, The Nation, and Jacobin. Don’t talk to Owen unless it is cold enough for flannels.
